Maddy Returns
after i met with guru dev i realized
i d better start figuring out a way
home i wanted to find a more
sophisticated way than another ox
and more freight rooms on an
ocean liner it s a long haul but
i ve heard about the silk route and
the orient express for decades now
i ll probably head north and see
what i can find did i ever mention
how old i am question mark
a hush falls over the audience
i queen madeleine am prepared
to tell you i am no less than 120
years old unfortunately it seems
cockroaches are quite long lived
i don t mind the longevity part
it s being a roach the whole time
that i m afraid of i m confident
it won t turn out like that no
reason i shouldn t live life to its
fullest in the mean time until i m
welcomed back into the human
community i must say after all
i ve been through i love you
only as much as i hate you and i
promise to make some major
changes once i return a
monumental alteration of
consciousness will be ushered in
by yours truly all i can really say is
everything and i do mean every last
thing on this sometimes wretched
sometimes glorious earth
understands and senses and
fits necessarily into the cosmic scheme
forsake not the smallest among us
for we all arise from the same ether
and to it we will all return one day
with all the slates wiped clean and
our decency restored
