The Boyfriend

Maddy, I have something to tell you.
I never said why I left Savannah,
because I didn't want to get into it.
I just wanted to start over new and
not think about it. Well, there's this
guy, see, and I ran away because of
him. I don't know how he did it
but he tracked me down. Called
here today and sweet old Frank said
I was out and didn't know when
I'd be back. Frank tried to get his
name but he hung up too fast. I
know it was him though. He'll start
showing up in person any day. I
just don't know what to do. I
thought at least I'd confide in my
best friend in the whole world.
I know you've got plenty of your
own troubles. I just wanted to
let you know about mine. I
guess you probably don't have
guy problems in the roach world.
Maybe you do? Tell me about
them when you can. I really
enjoyed your story about the
Iraqi prince. I think you did
find a kindred spirit there. You
should stay in touch with him.
Maybe he's got some ghost friend
that can make you a person again.
