Orient Express
i don t care to go into the details
savannah of my journey to get to
this mythical train i will tell you
it involved not just oxen but yaks
i didn t even know they still had
yaks but over mountains i trekked
on the back of a yak several in fact
the people of tibet and western china
are quite enlightened in terms of
assigning moral value to all creatures
not a soul has tried to swat me in
weeks this bodes quite well for
the lot of you if i do say so myself
and i do now i ll be moving
a little bit more quickly across this
barren landscape thank the cosmos
the train is nowhere near as clean as
the boat lots of scraps for the likes of
lowly me the train wobbling back
and forth must make cleaning it
while in motion quite hard all
the bugs are in hog heaven it really
can happen you know a bug being
in the heaven of hogs it goes without
saying i guess where go hogs there go
bugs such is my lot of late cast with
swine through no fault of my own
at least now i m homeward bound
not much in the way of cake crumbs
but it s warm and the bugs are sane
can t wait to be in your company
again savannah believe it or not
i memorized all this stuff so i could
write it out for you when i get home
a home is a good thing to have i
realize now more than ever even if
it does have a couple of loathsome
people in it maybe you and i
can make some changes around
